In this episode of Extra Innings, Mr. Nettles visits the 5th Grade D.A.R.E. Fair. The 5th grade students participated in a 10 week D.A.R.E. program and then at the end made a project of what they learn. Sorry for the audio the D.A.R.E. Fair had a lot of visitors.

Clinton’s Nettles named Superintendent of Distinction SPRINGFIELD—Curt Nettles, superintendent of Clinton CUSD #15, has been named the 2023 Superintendent of Distinction by his colleagues in the Abe Lincoln Region of the Illinois Association of School Administrators (IASA).

The Clinton Education Association will be holding their annual Spring Breakfast (formerly known as the Spring Tea) on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at 7:45 a.m. Doors will open at 7:30 a.m. The breakfast will be held in the commons area of the Clinton Junior High. During the breakfast, Teacher of the Year, C.E.A. Scholarships, recognition of retirees, and service awards will be presented. All present and retired employees of the district are welcome to attend.

Community use of the track at CHS is limited during the day while school is in session. While the weather is nice, the PE classes will be using the track. Community members are more than welcome to use the track when CHS students are not using it for class or activities. Thank you for your understanding.
