I am thrilled for the chance to work with students and families of the Clinton community this school year and most importantly, Mr. Peck and I are looking forward to welcoming students back into the building. I know that the past few months have been an adjustment for all of us, but I can’t wait for students to meet their teachers for this year and to reconnect with classmates - the building has been too quiet without you!
As you begin the 2020-21 school year via in-person learning at CJHS or remote learning at home, I am thankful you are part of our school community. For our 7th and 8th graders returning, I am sure your leadership skills have grown from when you left in the spring and throughout the summer - as we roll into this school year, I am counting on you to teach me all about #MaroonPride. For our 6th graders and students new to Clinton Junior High School, I will be learning with you as we navigate life at the junior high; this transition is an adventure we are all in together.
Remember to ask for help when you need it because so many adults in our building are ready to support you. Also, don’t forget to start the school with an open mind and a positive attitude; let’s look forward to the successes we will accomplish together this year. As we get started, please let me know ways I can help you make this your best year. Feel free to reach out via email or stop by my office. I am so excited to meet you!
