CHS Chopped Regional Winners

The Clinton High School Chopped team was the winner of the Macon-DeWitt-Piatt Region and will advance to STATE! The state competition will be held on June 1 in Decatur where they will compete against 12 other teams for the chance to go to Nationals in Dallas.

The mystery ingredients were honey, soy protein, and apple cider vinegar. The team prepared a pasta dish with the protein, a beautiful fruit salad, and turned pizza dough into cheesy herbed bread.

Congratulations to Aiden Toohill, Izzy Stephenson, Eric Sutton, and Noah Bass. In addition to winning, the team was awarded "Best Use of Mystery Ingredients."
