FFA Carter & Howell

Two Clinton FFA Members competed with an interview at the District Level over their proficiency record books on March 8th at Mt. Zion High School and are STATE BOUND!!

Kreston Carter was named the winner of the Diversified Horticulture Proficiency area. With this project, Kreston works at Triple M Farms, where he is responsible for assisting with the planting, maintenance, and harvest of mums, tomatoes, watermelons, sweet corn, pumpkins, zinnias, strawberries, and more. 

Davis Howell was named the winner of the Swine Production Entrepreneurship Proficiency area. Within this project, Davis owns a breeding swine operation and a market swine operation. He makes several managerial decisions pertaining to the genetic selection of his swine herd, manages animal health and nutrition, and works closely with the cash flow of his operation.

Both Davis and Kreston have made it to the Top 5 in the state!
