NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROPERTY TAX INCREASE FOR

Clinton CUSD 15

I. A public hearing to approve a proposed property tax levy increase for Clinton CUSD 15

Dewitt, Logan and Macon Counties, Illinois for 2026 will be held on December 15, 2026 at 1200 Highway 54 West Clinton, IL, Clinton High School, IL 61727 at 6:30 pm.

Any person desiring to appear at the public hearing and present testimony to the taxing district may contact Dr. Chuck Nagel at cnagel@cusd 15.org.

II. The corporate and special purpose property taxes extended or abated for 2025 were $ 16,963,204

The proposed corporate and special purposed property taxes to be levied for 2026 are $ 18,407,642. This represents a 8.52% increase over the previous year

III. The property taxes extended for debt services and public building commission leases for 2025 were $ 6,587,505

The estimated property taxes to be levied for debt service and public building commission leases for 2026 are $ 6,638,295

IIV. The total property taxes extended or abated for 2025 were $ 23,550,708

The estimated total property taxes to be levied for 2026 are $ 25,045,937. This represents a 6.35% increase over the previous year
