We are excited to welcome Dr. Nagel as the Interim Superintendent of CUSD#15 for the 2026–2027 school year!
Dr. Nagel brings a wealth of experience in education and school leadership. His career has included serving as a teacher, coach, assistant principal, athletic director, principal, associate superintendent, superintendent, and interim superintendent.
He and his wife, Kathy, enjoy spending time with their family and grandchildren. In his free time, he enjoys golf, running, traveling, musical theater, officiating track and cross country, and cheering on the Cubs and Bears.
Dr. Nagel holds a Master’s Degree in Administration, an Advanced Degree in Superintendency, and a Doctorate in Education.
As Interim Superintendent, Chuck believes in open and honest communication, building strong relationships, supporting educators, high academic standards, and creating a positive and supportive environment for students and staff.
