Hello CUSD 15 families!
I hope that you all have had a good holiday season considering all the circumstances surrounding us this year. I realize that there are still health concerns among some of our families as the virus continues to work and spread.
However, there has been more positive news lately as our county looks as though it is trending downward, and the vaccine is available to front line workers and the vulnerable. This news should propel us into the second semester with optimism.
Our plan has not changed. We will be open for in person instruction on Monday, Jan. 4th. We are very excited to see all of our students that are joining us at the schools, and we look forward to communications with our families that will be learning remotely. Please recall that students who have chosen remote learning will begin that work on Monday, Jan. 11th.
Please continue to communicate with our district nurses and administration in regard to your family’s health situation if there are any issues so that we can keep accurate records. Our success in staying open will depend on all of us staying away if we have symptoms, or if we have been exposed to the virus.
Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns. We are looking forward to starting the new semester and finishing the year strong! “Don’t stop thinking about tomorrow .......... “ – Fleetwood Mac
