Students in Miss Rudd's forensics class were divided into three groups where they were given one hour to “escape” from a room by solving a variety of clues. They have been working on their observation and critical thinking skills in class, so this opportunity allowed for them to utilize what they had learned thus far. One group was in the Dexter/Criminal Minds room, and they escaped with two minutes left to spare. Another group was in a cabin, and they escaped with 14 minutes left. The final group was at the circus, and they escaped with three minutes left to spare. Students and chaperones alike had a wonderful time at Escape Decatur!
